About The Position

As a Business Installation and Repair Technician, you will install and maintain telecommunications systems and equipment, including voice, data, security, and VoIP systems. This field-based role involves traveling to customer locations within a defined geographic area to install services and complete work orders while delivering customer-focused service. The role is home-based for dispatching and provides a self-managed work environment, with training and opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• One to five years of experience working with telecommunications networks or similar electrical fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working independently and strong technical aptitude.
• Experience working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.
• Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain voice, data, security, and VoIP communication systems and equipment.
• Ensure work orders are completed while providing customer service.
• Drive to and from customer locations within a defined geographic area to install services on behalf of the client.
• Use a laptop computer and various software applications.
