Business Installation & Repair Technician
About The Position
Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Business Installation and Repair Technician to install and maintain telecommunications systems and equipment. The role supports business internet-of-things services and involves traveling to customer locations within a defined geographic area to install services on behalf of a client. The technician uses customer service skills to ensure work orders are completed and uses a laptop and software applications to perform the work. This is a home-based dispatching role with travel in a company-provided vehicle. Weekend and on-call work may be required as needed. Physical duties include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, and working in weather conditions deemed safe.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience working with telecommunications networks or similar electrical fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working independently and strong technical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights and in confined spaces, and working in safe weather conditions.
- Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
