About The Position

Baton Corporation is hiring a Prediction Markets Business Development lead to grow the social graph on the pump.fun app by onboarding top prediction-market traders, whales, and creators. The role owns the prediction markets segment and focuses on bringing high-volume traders onto pump.fun so they can share positions, calls, and results publicly and build a following.

This is a hands-on, front-line business development role rather than account management. The lead will identify and recruit traders, onboard them, encourage sustained public trading, and turn lessons into a repeatable growth playbook. The position works closely with product and engineering so trader feedback can inform product features. The role is one of three new business development seats at Baton, alongside Perps and Trading Terminal.

The position is based preferably in New York, working in person with the team. Exceptional candidates may be considered for remote work with strong overlap with New York hours and regular time in New York. Compensation is a base salary of $200,000 to $1,000,000 depending on experience and scope, plus performance-related compensation linked to recruited traders, volume, and activity, potentially including token participation depending on level. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading business development at a crypto company or an adjacent field such as fintech, trading, betting, gaming, or the creator economy, with a track record of outsized impact.
• An established network among prediction-market traders and creators, including people who respond to outreach.
• Knowledge of event contracts, odds and pricing, liquidity, resolution, and the platforms used by serious prediction-market traders.
• Ability to structure and negotiate deals and incentives, and assess whether partnerships are worthwhile.
• Strong follow-up habits and the ability to maintain a clean pipeline and convert conversations into results.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication, familiarity with Crypto Twitter, and sound judgment when representing the company.
• A scrappy, high-energy operating style and ability to work in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment while building a playbook.

Nice To Haves

• Business development or partnerships experience at a prediction market, exchange, or trading platform such as Polymarket, Kalshi, Limitless, or Myriad.
• Active prediction-market trading experience and a following on X or in trading communities.
• Experience launching or scaling a referral, affiliate, or ambassador programme.
• Connections to non-English-speaking trading communities, especially Chinese-speaking communities.

Responsibilities

• Map and recruit leading prediction-market traders, key opinion leaders, whales, and creators to trade on the pump.fun app.
• Own the pipeline from initial outreach through onboarding and ongoing active public trading.
• Encourage high-signal traders to share positions, calls, and PnL on pump.fun and bring their followers onto the platform.
• Design referral, ambassador, creator, and partnership deals tied to measurable activity.
• Represent traders internally by bringing specific feedback to product and engineering and helping shape market-specific features.
• Engage with traders through Crypto Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and other relevant channels.
• Track trader onboarding, retained activity, trading volume, and social engagement.
• Develop a repeatable playbook for growing the prediction-markets segment.
• Map the prediction-markets landscape and create a ranked target list of traders, groups, and creators.
• Establish an onboarding programme, build a cohort of active high-volume traders, and grow prediction markets' share of trading activity and the social graph.
