About The Position

Responsible for achieving business development and sales growth targets, providing customer support and managing product portfolio. This role owns and drives top-line revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and business development activities. It involves identifying market trends, market potentials, and new competitive situations for hand tools in industrial applications. The position defines marketing strategy for industrial applications, regularly checks the achievement of sales targets, and drives the cross-functional team to take action if any gaps exist. It captures application and client needs from a technological and business perspective, conducts new customer prospecting, opportunity generation, and relationship management using the 360° approach. The role protects, grows, and supports sales for assigned customers and accounts, manages sales opportunities and activities using established systems for regional standard accounts, and manages the hand tool product portfolio in industrial applications. Additionally, it conducts product and application training and leads, mentors, and manages the Sales Operations team, providing day-to-day guidance, performance management, and coaching to ensure consistent and high-quality execution across all customer-facing and operational functions. Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of sales processes, sales principles, and the sales channel landscape.
  • Affinity for digital tools, specifically Salesforce and SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of marketing, technical requirements, and industry dynamics for the area of responsibility.
  • Strong ability to detect technical and commercial customer needs.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with staff and customers at all levels in a global environment.
  • Strong motivational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 15% or more.
