About The Position

SERVPRO of Jackson/Dekalb COS is hiring a Business Development Specialist (also referred to in the posting as a Business Development Representative). The role focuses on increasing brand awareness, sharing the SERVPRO story, building professional relationships, and growing revenue in an assigned sales territory. The successful candidate will be comfortable meeting new people, communicate effectively in person and online, and be motivated by sales goals.

Requirements

A minimum of two years of direct sales experience.
A strong process- and results-driven attitude.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, or equivalent experience.
Experience in the cleaning, restoration, or insurance industry.

Responsibilities

Understand SERVPRO’s competitive advantages and educate clients and customers about the brand’s benefits.
Build, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships with contacts in the sales territory through daily marketing calls.
Increase brand awareness by participating in marketing events, including professional associations, lunch-and-learns, and continuing education classes.
Use marketing software to document daily marketing calls and track lead activity and opportunities.
Provide management with revenue updates and reports for the assigned sales territory.
Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving and exceeding sales goals.
