About The Position

Procurify is seeking a talented and team-driven Business Development Representative to join their AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for the mid-market. This role is responsible for all top-of-funnel activities that create qualified opportunities for the sales team, working with both inbound and outbound leads. It's a high-impact position within a team of high performers focused on building relationships, achieving quotas, and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential target customers, industries, and market trends.
  • Contact potential clients through cold-calling and cold-emailing to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and fit for our solutions.
  • Engage in networking, face-to-face meetings, and other activities to generate and close leads.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to educate prospects about our offerings.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and news from the industry, competitors, and target market.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects, guiding them through the sales funnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
