About The Position

Spade is hiring its first Enterprise Business Development Representative to build the company’s outbound sales playbook from the ground up. The role focuses on a named list of top banks and fintechs, using tailored research and outreach to reach enterprise buyers, handle initial objections, and book qualified meetings for Account Executives. The representative will work directly with the CRO, AEs, and CEO and will own a qualified-meetings target and the associated pipeline, with performance measured by outcomes rather than daily activity quotas. The representative will develop outbound channels, cadence, tooling, and operating rhythms; create and test LinkedIn and email sequences; and provide thorough context to AEs for every booked meeting. The role also includes maintaining CRM accuracy, reporting weekly on reply rates, meetings booked, and show rates, and managing conference and dinner outreach from invitations through follow-up. Spade is a fast-growing Series B financial data and AI company. It describes its team as lean, execution-oriented, and hybrid, with an emphasis on empathy, curiosity, autonomy, ownership, and diversity of background and perspective. The company is headquartered in New York City and offers remote opportunities for certain roles in the US and Canada.
