About The Position

ADP is hiring a Business Development Representative for their Global Enterprise Solutions (GES) space. This role partners with domestic and global field sellers to build new client pipelines and grow market share. The primary responsibilities include setting prospect appointments, generating qualified sales leads, and advancing these appointments into viable sales opportunities. The role involves cultivating relationships, gathering leads from established business partners, and assessing prospect needs to present ADP solutions. This position utilizes the latest digital technology and requires no travel. Key attributes for success include integrity, resilience, positivity, and a "refuse to lose" attitude. The role offers commission, incentive trips, and career advancement opportunities within a stable and respected global leader in the tech industry.

Requirements

  • A hunter mentality with sharp business acumen for value-based selling.
  • Tech-savvy and embrace modern selling tools.
  • Creative, innovative, and think outside the box.
  • Comfortable and skilled at having Executive-Level conversations.
  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military Experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior quota-carrying, prospecting, and business development experience.
  • Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business by cultivating prospect accounts, nurturing and advancing them into sales opportunities, working independently and collaboratively within assigned territories.
  • Turn prospects into loyal clients and raving fans by implementing a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Deepen relationships across the ADP family by strategically cultivating additional business within existing accounts, in addition to selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
  • Collaborate daily as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to prospects, internal partners, and the overall network, demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
