•$45,000 - $70,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Mews is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand its West Coast market and build qualified pipeline for its hospitality technology platform. The role focuses on outbound prospecting to North American hotel operators, including hotel general managers, revenue managers, and group procurement contacts. The representative owns prospecting across the West Coast, from initial cold outreach through booking discovery meetings for the Account Executive team. The position also researches and prioritizes opportunities, reports pipeline activity, shares market intelligence with the regional commercial team, and uses AI for research and prospecting.

Requirements

  • Ideally, at least six months of experience in an outbound-facing role involving initiating contact and handling rejection, such as BDR, SDR, inside sales, or a high-contact customer-facing position.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in both languages, with the ability to adapt tone for different decision-maker profiles.
  • AI Fluency Level 2 or equivalent hands-on experience: deliberate use of AI for outreach research and drafting, consistent review before sending, and ownership of the final result.
  • A genuine connection to and passion for hospitality, demonstrated through hotel operations, front desk, reservations, events, food and beverage, or strong curiosity about how hotels work, so the candidate can speak credibly with hotel GMs.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality experience is strongly encouraged.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and outbound platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Deep hospitality knowledge.
  • Prior BDR or SDR experience at a SaaS company with a track record of meeting activity and pipeline targets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct multi-channel cold outreach through calls, emails, and targeted sequences to hotel GMs, revenue managers, and procurement contacts, converting conversations into discovery meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Research and tier new business opportunities in the West Coast market and build pipeline independently.
  • Track and report pipeline activity to the direct manager on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences.
  • Share market intelligence from hotel operators with the regional commercial team to improve targeting and outreach.
  • Use AI regularly for research and prospecting, including drafting and personalizing outreach, reviewing and editing messages before they are sent, and experimenting with AI sequencing and research tools.

Benefits

  • Unlimited paid holiday.
  • Participation in the company share program.
  • Paid parental leave: six months fully paid for primary caregivers and two months for secondary caregivers, available after one year of service.
  • Annual learning budget of €300, with additional budget for high performers.
  • Monthly EDGE time to Explore, Develop, Grow, and Elevate.
  • Work-from-anywhere policy allowing work abroad for a few weeks each year.
  • Relocation options after one year.
  • Flexible, hybrid working options.
  • Home office setup budget and monthly work-from-home allowance.
  • Claude tokens for workflow automation and productivity.
  • Location-dependent benefits, which may include healthcare, retirement plans, team events, socials, and other perks.
