About the position
This role is for a sales, marketing, and operations generalist at LevelTen Energy. The main focus of this position is to increase immediate demand for LevelTen's Platform and services, specifically on the Buyer Engagement side. The responsibilities include conducting cold calling, email and social communications to demonstrate the value of LevelTen's services, responding to inbound inquiries, researching and qualifying new leads, running outbound and email nurture campaigns, scheduling consultation calls, and generating opportunities to meet revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of marketing, sales, or customer success experience, be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with cold calling. Prior experience in renewable energy or M&A transactions is a plus. The estimated compensation for this position is $70,000-80,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the value of LevelTen’s services to drive demand and strong participation in the Platform through cold calling, emails, and social communications
- Respond to inbound inquiries
- Research prospective accounts and contacts to identify and qualify new leads
- Run targeted outbound and email nurture campaigns
- Conduct screening calls to determine new viable opportunities
- Schedule consultation calls for Account Managers
- Generate opportunities to support annual revenue targets
- Credential, onboard, and train new users to the Platform
- Create and maintain CRM account, contact, and opportunity information
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- 1-3 years of marketing, sales, business development, or customer success experience
- Positive and outgoing attitude
- Ability to quickly develop rapport and maintain strong relationships
- Self-motivated and persistent
- Able to work independently and deal with rejection
- Comfortable with cold calling
- Excellent writing and listening skills
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail
- Able to articulate a product's value proposition and explain complex issues simply and clearly
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal groups
- Prior experience with CRM software, familiarity with Salesforce a plus
- Knowledge or strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, project development, or energy markets preferred
- Prior experience with M&A transactions a plus
- Prior experience in the renewable energy industry a plus
