About The Position

As Business Development Partner for Evinova Unify, you will lead new-logo growth for an AI-powered clinical operations platform that brings eCOA, eConsent, patient engagement, site management, and data orchestration together in one unified experience. The role focuses on winning major pharmaceutical and CRO customers by creating pipeline from the ground up, prospecting senior R&D and Clinical Operations stakeholders, and closing complex enterprise deals across an assigned territory. You will manage the full new-business lifecycle, from territory planning and outbound prospecting through contract execution and handover. The position requires disciplined pipeline generation and qualification, sophisticated multi-stakeholder enterprise selling, and the ability to influence C-suite and VP-level decision-makers. You will develop financial and operational cases for platform consolidation, position Unify against competing clinical technology solutions, share market intelligence with internal leaders, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to structure proposals and support smooth implementation transitions. Success includes consistently achieving new-logo and sales targets, maintaining a qualified pipeline at 3–4x coverage, shortening sales cycles through effective qualification and executive alignment, developing referenceable customers, and providing useful market and competitive insights. The role is intended for a commercially driven enterprise seller interested in life sciences and enterprise technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7 years of enterprise B2B sales or business development experience, with a record of consistently achieving or exceeding new-logo and ARR targets.
  • Proven experience selling sophisticated SaaS or technology solutions in the life sciences sector, specifically clinical development, clinical operations, or health technology.
  • Demonstrated history of building pipeline from scratch in greenfield or underpenetrated territories.
  • Proficiency in structured enterprise sales methodologies and applying them to qualify, advance, and close multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong commercial judgment, including identifying account entry points, building champions, navigating buying committees, and creating urgency.
  • Experience managing sales cycles involving procurement, legal, IT security, and executive sponsorship across multiple buyer functions.
  • Solid understanding of clinical development workflows and the technology landscape at pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs, including eCOA, eConsent, ePRO, patient engagement, CTMS, RTSM/IWRS, and DCT tools.
  • Ability to explain the impact of fragmented clinical technology and position a unified platform approach as a strategic alternative.
  • Familiarity with AI, data orchestration, and analytics in clinical operations, including how these capabilities create measurable value for sponsors and CROs.
  • Ability to develop financial and operational business cases that quantify return on investment for procurement, finance, and clinical leadership audiences.
  • Experience using data, benchmarks, and case studies to substantiate value claims and support buyer decision-making.
  • Working familiarity with ICH-GCP, GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11 as applicable to clinical data and digital health solutions in regulated environments.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to scientific, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Confident presentation and negotiation skills, including experience influencing C-suite and VP-level stakeholders in large, sophisticated organizations.
  • Self-starter with commercial drive, resilience, and the rigor to lead a full sales cycle independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

  • Apply structured qualification to maintain forecast accuracy and focus effort on winnable opportunities.

  • Engage senior clinical and R&D leaders with insight-led messaging tied to their strategic priorities, technology landscape, and operational problems.
  • Develop financial and operational cases that quantify the impact of platform consolidation on study performance, data quality, site efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Monitor the clinical operations technology market and position Unify against legacy EDC vendors, point solutions, and emerging DCT platforms.
