About The Position

McGraw Kokosing is an industrial maintenance contractor based in Middletown, Ohio, serving industries including steel, power, oil and gas, and food and beverage. Its capabilities include off-site manufacturing and assembly, pipe fabrication and installation, electrical and instrumentation, structural steel erection, rigging, and equipment setting. Services include planned plant outages, emergency maintenance, and capital improvement projects for new and existing facilities, as well as preconstruction services such as risk assessments, budget validation, and 3D modeling.

The Business Development Manager – Industrial Solutions develops and maintains client relationships, prospects new clients, and works with clients to develop solutions. The role combines technical understanding of construction and fabrication with relationship-building skills. It also supports proposal and estimating efforts, participates in industry events, and uses a CRM to manage contacts and leads. McGraw Kokosing emphasizes safety, quality, collaboration, and delivering solutions that help clients meet their goals.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in MEP maintenance, construction, or fabrication.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software, including Word and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• 15 or more years of experience in MEP maintenance, construction, or fabrication preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another engineering discipline is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support existing clients in achieving their goals by providing solutions and maintaining relationships.
• Prospect new clients and build relationships to support their goals.
• Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and the company’s practice leaders.
• Support proposal and quote development, including schedules or estimates.
• Maintain CRM data on leads, opportunities, contacts, companies, and competitors.
• Attend industry events to expand the network and promote Kokosing.
• Participate in key industry groups at local, state, and national levels.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment where every voice matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
