About the position

As a Business Development Manager at Brex, you will play a crucial role in driving new customer growth and increasing engagement on the platform. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for anchor partners in a specific vertical, generating top-of-funnel pipeline for Brex. You will work closely with various teams, including Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Legal, to create a vibrant partner ecosystem. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating partner agreements, managing sales and marketing activities, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy for scaling strategic partnerships at Brex, including setting short- and long-term goals and performance metrics in line with Brex objectives
  • Negotiating new partner agreements in line with your strategy and Brex business objectives
  • Manage sales and marketing activities of partners to generate pipeline, revenue, and achieve sales targets
  • Lead recurring partner business reviews to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Sales, Product/Engineering, Legal, etc. to create a vibrant partner ecosystem around Brex.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in partnerships/channel sales
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for anchor partners
  • Familiarity with field engagement and lead generation techniques
  • Experience in co-marketing initiatives
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to set short- and long-term goals and performance metrics
  • Strong sales and marketing management skills
  • Ability to achieve sales targets
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystem development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
