About the position
As a Business Development Manager at Brex, you will play a crucial role in driving new customer growth and increasing engagement on the platform. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for anchor partners in a specific vertical, generating top-of-funnel pipeline for Brex. You will work closely with various teams, including Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Legal, to create a vibrant partner ecosystem. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating partner agreements, managing sales and marketing activities, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy for scaling strategic partnerships at Brex, including setting short- and long-term goals and performance metrics in line with Brex objectives
- Negotiating new partner agreements in line with your strategy and Brex business objectives
- Manage sales and marketing activities of partners to generate pipeline, revenue, and achieve sales targets
- Lead recurring partner business reviews to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Sales, Product/Engineering, Legal, etc. to create a vibrant partner ecosystem around Brex.
Requirements
- Prior experience in partnerships/channel sales
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for anchor partners
- Familiarity with field engagement and lead generation techniques
- Experience in co-marketing initiatives
