About The Position

Exit Factor is expanding its team and seeking a Business Development Manager/Consultant specializing in Exit Strategy. This role is for individuals located in the Livonia, Redford, Westland, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Canton, Plymouth, or Garden City area. Exit Factor is a business consulting firm focused on helping small to medium-sized businesses increase their profit, efficiency, and value in preparation for future sale. They utilize business valuations, 1:1 consulting, and online programs for companies with revenues between $0 - $30 million across various industries. The firm is part of a large global organization, offering the feel of a small business with the resources of a multinational company. The Business Coach and Consultant role involves engaging with new leads, converting them to clients, and providing 1:1 consulting based on Exit Factor's proprietary method. The company provides full training, certification, house leads, and an automation/nurture system. This career offers the opportunity to assist business owners in preparing their companies for sale by increasing business value and to gain broad industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Computer proficiency is required, including conducting Zoom or comparable video presentation meetings.
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role or a love for customer interaction.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication with particularly strong phone skills.
  • Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and business.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: a proactive, driven, strong desire to succeed, competitive, committed to accomplishing objectives, opportunistic.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the following technology systems or ability to figure it out: Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Zoom.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with potential Exit Factor members.
  • Conducting 1:1 consulting sessions with clients following the Exit Factor system.
  • Providing additional resources in our online curriculum to enhance sessions.
  • Participating in initial training and certification and continuing education.
