About The Position
ServiceMaster Restoration Services is seeking a motivated Business Development Consultant (BDC) to join their growing team in the Atlanta market. This role focuses on building relationships, creating new opportunities, and expanding the company's referral network. The BDC will be actively involved in reaching out to potential partners, following up, scheduling meetings, and converting conversations into business. This is a proactive sales and relationship-building role, not a passive one.

- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, insurance, construction, restoration, or account management is helpful, but the right attitude, communication skills, and work ethic are just as important.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with insurance agents, plumbers, HVAC companies, property managers, realtors, commercial businesses, and other referral partners.
- Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to new and existing contacts.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the business development team.
- Follow up with referral partners and prospective accounts.
- Help turn new contacts into long-term referral relationships.
- Manage contacts, opportunities, and follow-up activity in the CRM.
- Research and identify new businesses and accounts to pursue.
- Support outside sales representatives with scheduling and follow-up.
- Help coordinate networking events, lunches, meetings, and community outreach.
- Follow up with referral partners after jobs are received.
- Track activity, opportunities, referrals, and results.
- Represent the ServiceMaster brand professionally.
