Business Development Consultant
About The Position
Verge Labs is seeking an experienced, execution-oriented Business Development consultant to take ownership of its growing pipeline of opportunities across our AI and data businesses. Working directly with Verge's executive leadership team, this person will own existing deal flow and origination efforts, managing opportunities from initial engagement through commercial negotiation, contracting, and execution. This is not an advisory role. We are looking for a hands-on business development operator who wants to be directly responsible for execution, can step into an active pipeline immediately, and is comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving, technically complex environment. You will own three critical elements of our pipeline: Legal/redlines and contracting, Negotiating final commercial terms, Origination. Successful applicants will be able to point to an exceptional track record of closing high-value transactions with pharma or biotech partners, a deep understanding of business development lifecycles, and will possess the scientific literacy to be autonomous in their work.
Requirements
- Experienced, execution-oriented Business Development consultant.
