About The Position

Gartner Business Development Executives expand the company’s presence across the global market by acquiring new clients and building trust-based relationships with C-level executives. They learn clients’ mission-critical priorities and identify opportunities to deliver value through relevant industry insights. Business Developers own the sales cycle from prospect identification through negotiation and close, then transition new clients to the account management team for ongoing value delivery. The role is assigned a territory of Large Enterprise prospects, including organizations new to Gartner and prospects already working with other Gartner areas. In the GBS Large Enterprise segment, prospects have more than $1 billion in annual revenue. The position requires building a high-quality sales pipeline, delivering against sales metrics and quota, managing complex high-revenue sales, and maintaining forecasts and account plans.
