About The Position

Gartner’s Business Development Executive acquires new clients by building trust-based relationships with C-level executives, understanding their mission-critical priorities, and identifying opportunities to deliver value. The role owns the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach through negotiation and close, then transitions new clients to the account management team. The assigned territory includes Large Enterprise prospects, defined in the GBS Large Enterprise segment as organizations with more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Prospects may be new to Gartner or existing clients working with other Gartner areas. The position manages complex, high-revenue sales in matrixed and diverse business environments. It is accountable for territory quota, pipeline quality, sales metrics, forecasting, and account planning.
