About The Position

Gartner’s Business Development Executives expand the company’s presence by acquiring new clients and building trust-based relationships with C-level executives. They identify prospects, understand clients’ mission-critical priorities, present relevant insights and tools, manage the full sales cycle through negotiation and close, and transition new accounts to account management. This role serves a territory of Mid-Size Enterprise prospects, including new prospects and clients already working with other Gartner areas; these clients have up to $1 billion in annual revenue. The position is hybrid. Associates work virtually and in the office when there is a business reason to do so, with in-office experiences across the global MSE sales team potentially occurring several times each week. The role requires living within commuting distance of a Gartner center of excellence in Fort Myers, Florida; Irving, Texas; Barcelona, Spain; London, England; Gurgaon, India; Singapore; or Sydney, Australia. Relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates. Gartner describes a promote-from-within culture with career progression into roles such as Business Development Director, Team Lead, and Sales Manager.
