About The Position

Business Development Executives expand Gartner’s presence by acquiring new clients and cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives. They learn prospects’ mission-critical priorities and identify opportunities to deliver value through industry-specific insights. The role covers the full sales cycle, from prospect identification through negotiation and closing, followed by transitioning new accounts to account management. The role serves a territory of Midsize Enterprise prospects, including new prospects and clients currently served by other Gartner areas. Gartner MSE supports High Tech and End User client accounts with annual revenue targets between $10 million and $1 billion. The organization works in a hybrid environment, combining virtual work with in-office experiences that may occur several times each week, including manager meetings, team meetings, and upskilling sessions. The dress code is business casual. The position offers professional development and career progression opportunities, onboarding through Gartner’s Expedition training program, and recognition for sales performance. Compensation includes a base salary and participation in either an annual bonus plan or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The role is based within commuting distance of a required location; relocation assistance is available to qualifying candidates.
