About The Position

Serve as a senior leader within Booz Allen’s engineering and science (E&S) team, driving business development and leading technical solutioning for engineering, research and development (R&D), integration, and development opportunities for a Navy client. Develop, socialize, and execute a business growth strategy; grow client business; and act as the primary client contact. Work with market-team peers and external clients to build a pipeline, drive growth, and lead proposal and business development activities. Continuously improve the baseline business, identify new capability ideas based on client needs, maintain local industry and government relationships, and propose technical solutions.

Direct all phases of contract execution and delivery, including responsibility for cost, schedule, performance, planning, resourcing, hiring, and risk management to achieve successful technical performance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The projected annualized compensation range is $142,900 to $266,000. Compensation is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements. The posting will close within 90 days of the Posting Date. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading capture activities for government acquisitions.
• At least 5 years of technical or engineering work in the surface maritime domain.
• At least 5 years of experience leading 50 or more employees performing disparate tasks.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth.
• Experience with client and industry relationships across the U.S. Navy.
• Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) government contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes.
• Knowledge of Navy Warfare Centers and Syscoms.
• Ability to determine customer needs through interactive dialogue and collaborate across Booz Allen to architect, document, and present viable solutions.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering, or at least 8 years of naval work experience in lieu of a degree.
