Grow lines of service as defined by management by developing and retaining referrals from physicians and other key non-physician referral sources. This role involves working closely with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers, physicians, and management, as well as providing education to staff to generate referral sources. The Business Development Account Manager will develop strong relationships with key referral sources and their personnel, identifying new opportunities for partnering and growth. They will manage leads from referral sources, ensure an efficient admissions process for clients, and expeditiously document all activity in the company's Customer Relationship Manager (Salesforce). Collaboration with the corporate Consumer Marketing team is essential to ensure utilization of their resources and implementation of best practices in brand development. The role also requires coordination with the clinical assessment team on referrals for admission based on facility services, and educating patients, families, the community, and other referral sources on programs, services, and amenities. The position involves coordinating the completion of the admission process and ensuring appropriate resources are obtained. Frequent travel within the community is expected for scheduling meetings, developing contacts/referral sources, documenting them in the contact management system, and reporting on referral/activity management. The role includes developing events and educational forums to demonstrate the organization's thought leadership, identify potential referral sources, and maintain existing relationships. Utilization of analytic tools like Salesforce is key for planning and evaluating activity to optimize results. The Business Development Account Manager will represent the facility in professional forums and communicate its mission in all outreach and interactions. Creating outreach initiatives to regularly communicate the facility's mission with referral sources through various channels is also a core responsibility. Additionally, the role may involve providing initial and on-going clinical assessments of patients and managing the admissions process, if appropriately licensed/certified and/or experienced.
