About The Position

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is charged with implementing the state's public school laws for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public schools at the direction of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Board of Education. This role supports the work of the Office of Educator Preparation, Licensure, and Performance by ensuring that all business-related processes are performed with efficiency and accuracy. These processes include, but are not limited to, travel reimbursements, invoice payments, contract creation and execution, account reconciliation, and procurement. The Business Coordinator will also work with the Budget Analyst to ensure that EPLP manages its resources effectively.

Requirements

  • High school of General Educational Development (GED) diploma and five years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff travel reimbursements.
  • Generate contracts and shepherd through the approval process.
  • Order supplies and reconcile office expenses.
  • Generate requisitions and shepherd through the e-procurement process.
  • Participate in professional learning and training as required by the agency.
