About the position
The job description is seeking an experienced Business Consultant to join Domo's consulting team, which provides strategic implementation services for their innovative business management platform. The consultant will work with clients, end-users, technical architects, and application designers to define data requirements and structures for BI applications. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of consulting experience in software products and the industry, possess practical knowledge of BI tools and solution providers, and have strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with Domo clients and handle end-to-end implementation process and resources
- Define data requirements and structure of business intelligence (BI) applications in collaboration with clients, end-users, technical architects, and application designers
- Have 2-5 years of consulting experience in software products and industry
- Present complex development topics to both management and technical personnel
- Have practical knowledge of BI tools and solution providers
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Have strong communication skills, including presentation skills and written and oral communication skills
- Have problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
- Be able to perform business process analysis, mapping, and design
- Have experience in conducting requirement analysis, interviewing business owners, and conducting current state analysis
- Have experience in developing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
- Have experience in recognizing business problems and proposing/developing solutions
- Have a degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/education.

- Experience in conducting requirement analysis, interviewing business owners, and conducting current state analysis
- Experience in developing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
- Experience in recognizing business problems and proposing/developing solutions
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/education.
