About The Position

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking a Business Architect to support a U.S. Air Force modernization initiative. The role requires deep functional expertise in Air Force Financial Management (AF FM), Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) systems. The Business Architect will connect Air Force financial stakeholders with technical delivery teams, shaping future-state processes, defining requirements, developing solution blueprints, and participating in Oracle EBS implementation activities. The position is on-site at Robins AFB, GA; Tinker AFB, OK; or Hill AFB, UT. Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates outside the commuting area. A current Secret clearance is required.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and no dual citizenship.
• Current Secret clearance at a minimum.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of Oracle E-Business Suite functional and business-process experience, including hands-on functional configuration and full-lifecycle implementations.
• At least 10 years of MRO business process engineering experience in process design, implementation, and transformation, including hands-on work with MRO systems.
• Deep functional knowledge of U.S. Air Force Financial Management processes, including hands-on expertise with DEAMS.
• Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementations in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working in a blended government-contractor environment.
• Availability to work on-site and support business travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within the past two years supporting USAF FM modernization programs, specifically Air Force MROi and/or MRO-S.
• Functional expertise or implementation experience with Oracle EBS Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
• Familiarity with Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (cMRO) or Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM).
• Familiarity with legacy Air Force logistics and financial interface systems such as D035J/FIABS, SMAS, or related FMO systems, to support data migration, transition, and cutover strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modernization and integration with MRO operations.
• Analyze current-state USAF financial management and maintenance operations and design future-state solutions.
• Lead requirements gathering, process design workshops, and business process reengineering for financial workflows.
• Develop process blueprints, functional requirements, KPIs, and solution documentation for financial reporting, accounting, and MRO integration.
• Own one or more Oracle EBS Financials functional areas or modules, including DEAMS, and provide functional leadership.
• Partner with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure Oracle EBS configurations and development meet financial management business requirements and auditability standards.
• Support Conference Room Pilots, blueprinting sessions, testing, and solution validation.
• Demonstrate system capabilities and educate stakeholders about solution capabilities and financial process changes.
• Ensure quality standards, financial compliance, and business requirements are met throughout the implementation lifecycle.
