About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Business Analyst Summer Student will work as a member of the Projects team. Applicants must have a strong interest in identifying opportunities for improvement, analyzing business processes and solving challenging problems in a team and/or individual setting. A strong desire to learn and contribute to meaningful projects is highly valued.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information and propose practical solutions/suggestions.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work well individually or part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for documenting processes and presenting updates.
• Proficiency in using tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Registered in a recognized university or college and working towards a degree in Business Analyst, Project Management, Marketing, Communication or related programs
• Must be returning to school for the Fall semester

Responsibilities

• Working with various departments to ensure the successful progression of projects and adherence to deadlines.
• Assist the Project Management Office team in reviewing, organizing, and monitoring projects to ensure timely progress.
• Assist in creating and updating Standard Operation Procedures for various departments, fostering consistency and efficiency.
• Provide documentation support, including drafting, organizing, and maintaining project records.
• Deliver regular status updates to management and project committees, highlighting key milestones and addressing potential challenges.
