About The Position

Omnicom Media is seeking a Business Analyst, Transformation to join their team. This role is part of the Projects and Performance Improvement function, specifically focusing on Business Performance and Process Improvement. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business operations, supporting data analysis requests, ensuring data quality, and assisting with user stories and user acceptance testing (UAT). The position also involves administrative tasks related to data platform management. The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of data systems, knowledge of the media landscape, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Agency experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of data analytics experience.
  • Technical understanding of data systems and platforms - working knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, or other advanced analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of the media landscape – including various media types such as Digital Managed Services, Programmatic, Traditional Media, etc.
  • Strong data management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to clearly define business requirements and present them to internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Agency experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce/MBOX/Asana/Prisma a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of business operations and support recurring and ad‑hoc analysis requests related to spend, performance, compliance, or operational efficiency.
  • Validate data outputs against source systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches.
  • Monitor data quality issues and support root-cause analysis in partnership with product and technical teams.
  • Track, document, and help triage data discrepancies or defects reported by the business.
  • Assist in validating fixes across environments and confirming resolution with stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear documentation of known data limitations or dependencies.
  • Draft and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria based on business and data requirements.
  • Ensure stories clearly reflect business workflows, data logic, and expected analytical outputs.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering during backlog refinement and UAT to validate outcomes.
  • Manage data platform admin requests including account setup, granting access/permissions, troubleshooting, etc.
