About the position
Culture Amp is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Technology Team and contribute to the growth of best practices in Business Analysis. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and offer insights for continuous improvement. The Business Analyst will act as a conduit between the business and IT teams, facilitating collaborative meetings, defining requirements, and proposing solutions. They will also be responsible for creating high-quality business analysis artifacts and presenting their findings to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have experience in process mapping, stakeholder management, and assessing solutions for return on investment.
Responsibilities
- Work as a conduit between the business and IT teams to identify and assess change impacts, risks, and dependencies
- Engage with stakeholders and facilitate collaborative meetings to understand business needs
- Define unambiguous requirements and propose solutions that address the root cause
- Create high-quality business analysis artifacts using best practice tools and techniques
- Understand and document processes to identify opportunities for optimization
- Present analysis and recommendations to key senior stakeholders and gain alignment on the best path forward
- Have process mapping experience and involvement in process reviews and transformation
- Manage competing stakeholder expectations and encourage a systems thinking mindset
- Set standards for succinct, high-quality documentation for various audiences
- Assess solutions to identify return on investment and ensure project needs and goals are supported by data
- Genuinely passionate about business analysis and continuous improvement
- Have a keen eye for detail and naturally analyze assumptions
- Comfortable in driving for clarity in ambiguous situations
- Good at communicating with both technical and non-technical people
- Skilled at finding edge cases and loopholes

- Training or certification in business analysis (desirable)
- Knowledge of BABOK (desirable)
