About The Position
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. If you have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing excellent service, this role is for you!
Requirements
- Class C (or higher) CDL with a passenger endorsement.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Road rules expert who knows regulations inside and out.
- Communicate courteously and professionally, making sure everyone is heard.
- Handle two-way radios and tablets with ease.
- Operate 9-23 passenger buses safely, including using wheelchair lifts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills that keep things running smoothly.
- Team player who can also take charge and work independently when needed.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely according to schedules and assignments.
- Make quick, sound decisions based on traffic and road conditions.
- Follow schedule established on manifest.
- Work with staff to organize routes and events.
- Follow all driving policies and procedures.
- Complete pre- and post-trip bus inspections.
- Communicate policies and handle fare collection.
- Assist passengers professionally and tactfully.
