About The Position

DAEOC is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers and Custodians. This role involves safely transporting pre-school students to Head Start locations while ensuring a secure, clean, and mechanically sound bus. We offer part-time bus driving positions or full-time opportunities that include custodial duties at the center, along with benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CDL (class A or B) driver's license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement.
• Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance company requirements).
• Proof of degree (diploma or official transcript) may be requested during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful environment during transport.
• Ensure the security of the bus.
• Ensure the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.
• Provide custodial assistance in the center (for full-time position).
