About The Position

Grow Early Learning is seeking responsible Bus Drivers in Fort Pierce, Florida. The role transports children safely and comfortably to their destinations, while following DOT regulations, company policies, established bus routes, and the procedures in the Grow Early Learning Transportation Manual. Drivers are responsible for keeping the bus neat, clean, and sanitized. Route deviations are permitted only when directed by an Emergency Response Team, Lead Bus Driver, or Transportation Specialist in coordination with the Transportation Manager or Assistant Transportation Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, with P&S endorsement and School Bus Driver Certificate of Training.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to read and write.
Understanding of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus and transport children to their destinations.
Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
Keep the bus neat, clean, and sanitized according to procedures in the Grow Early Learning Transportation Manual.
Ensure the safety and comfort of all children throughout the journey.
Follow established bus routes without deviations, except when directed by an Emergency Response Team, Lead Bus Driver, or Transportation Specialist in coordination with the Transportation Manager or Assistant Transportation Manager.
