About The Position

DAEOC is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers and Custodians. This role involves transporting pre-school students to Head Start locations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit. The position also requires maintaining a clean and healthy environment on the bus and at the Head Start center. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CDL (class A or B) driver's license valid in the state of Missouri with passenger endorsement.
Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance company requirements).
Ability to provide proof of degree (diploma or official transcript) if interviewed.

Responsibilities

Transport pre-school students to Head Start locations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthful environment for children and staff during transport.
Ensure the security of the bus.
Ensure the bus is safe and mechanically maintained at all times.
Provide custodial assistance in the center (for full-time position).
