About The Position

Cadence Petroleum Group is recruiting a Bulk Delivery Driver for its Mobile, Alabama facility. The role transports and delivers products according to customer manifests and invoices while following company procedures and DOT regulations. Drivers work with dispatch to plan efficient deliveries, provide professional customer service, and inspect and maintain their assigned company vehicle. The position requires a valid Class A or B CDL and a tanker endorsement; a hazmat endorsement is preferred.

Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Tanker endorsement.
Ability to safely load and unload products.
Ability to meet the physical demands described, including lifting and moving loads up to 65 pounds unassisted and pushing or pulling 200 pounds or more with appropriate moving and safety equipment.

Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

Deliver products according to the manifest in a safe and responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
Operate company vehicles professionally, safely, and courteously.
Coordinate with dispatchers to plan efficient deliveries.
Use knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic volume, and alternate routes to improve route efficiency.
Safely load and unload products according to load size and content description.
Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance, and document these on driver truck inspection sheets.
Maintain a daily DOT electronic log.
Ensure delivery of the correct merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
Report accidents, damage, and malfunctions to management and complete the appropriate documentation promptly.
Maintain a valid driver’s license, endorsements, and DOT physical card, and submit renewal copies to the manager promptly.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
