About The Position

Prime Meats is hiring a full-time non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated protein products to foodservice customers on assigned routes. The role offers a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, and requires weekly out-of-town travel. Drivers are responsible for safe, timely, accurate deliveries and for following transportation regulations, food safety standards, and company policies. Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a non-CDL driver.
• Willingness to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willingness to wear composite- or steel-toe shoes.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT medical card or physical required; Prime Meats may sponsor a medical card subject to terms and conditions.
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the E-Verify employment verification process.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated protein products to restaurants, supermarkets, butcher shops, distributors, and other foodservice customers on assigned routes.
• Follow daily route plans efficiently, maintain on-time delivery performance, and support logistics and customer service objectives.
• Conduct independent pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check vehicle safety, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
• Verify orders, delivery documents, customer requirements, and special instructions for accurate and complete deliveries.
• Collect payments, obtain delivery confirmations, and complete required transportation and customer documentation accurately.
• Use ELD systems and other transportation technology to record driving hours, inspections, route activity, and potential delays.
• Follow DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company transportation and distribution policies.
• Promptly report safety concerns, vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, customer feedback, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Practice workplace safety and defensive driving to help prevent accidents.
