About The Position

Cadence Petroleum Group is seeking professional drivers to transport lubricant products to customers. Drivers deliver products according to manifests, company procedures, and DOT regulations, and coordinate with dispatch to support efficient routes. The role also involves safe vehicle operation, loading and unloading, customer service, vehicle inspections, maintenance documentation, and maintaining required driving credentials. A valid Class A or B CDL and tanker endorsement are required; a Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required at hire. The position is advertised as having weekends off.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Ability to safely load and unload products.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including lifting or moving up to 65 pounds unassisted and pushing or pulling 200+ pounds with appropriate moving and safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat endorsement; it is a plus but not required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products according to the manifest safely and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
• Operate company vehicles professionally, safely, and courteously.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to plan efficient deliveries.
• Use knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic, and alternate routes to improve route efficiency.
• Safely load and unload products based on load size and content description.
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and corrective and preventative maintenance; document these on truck inspection sheets.
• Maintain a daily DOT electronic log.
• Ensure the correct merchandise is delivered in accordance with customer invoices.
• Report accidents, damage, and malfunctions to management and complete required documentation promptly.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, endorsements, and DOT physical card, and submit renewal copies to the manager promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
