About The Position

Cadence Petroleum Group is recruiting a Package/Combo Driver for its Muskogee, Oklahoma facility. The role transports product deliveries according to customer manifests, company policies, and DOT regulations. Drivers work with dispatch to plan efficient deliveries, operate company vehicles safely and professionally, load and unload products, provide customer service, and complete required vehicle and DOT documentation. A valid Class A or B CDL and tanker endorsement are required; a hazmat endorsement is a plus but is not required at hire.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Ability to safely load and unload products.
• Ability to climb unassisted while carrying up to 40 pounds; frequently lift or move up to 65 pounds unassisted; and push or pull 200 or more pounds using appropriate moving and safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat endorsement; it is a plus but not required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products according to the manifest in a safe and responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
• Operate company vehicles in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to plan the most efficient deliveries.
• Use knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic volume, and alternate routes to improve route efficiency.
• Safely load and unload products according to the size of the load and its contents.
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and corrective and preventative maintenance, and document them on driver truck inspection sheets.
• Maintain a daily DOT E-log.
• Ensure delivery of the appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
• Report accidents, damage, and malfunctions to management and complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain a valid driver's license, endorsements, and DOT physical card, and submit copies of renewals to the manager in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
