Builder - Forward Deployed Generalist

ReevoSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Forward Deployed Generalist is how Reevo comes to life inside a customer's revenue team — from the first day of deployment to a team that can't imagine selling without it. Plenty of customers want more than the software — they want a partner who gets them fully live, fast. You sit at the intersection of the product, the customer's go-to-market motion, and the people actually using it — turning a customer's messiest, highest-stakes rollout into a revenue team that runs on Reevo. You own that delivery end to end, and the one number you own is time to value. This is a fast-paced, high-mobility role built for a high-slope builder — you move fast, take on more as fast as you can earn it, and there's no ceiling on how far you go. Expect to be deeply embedded with customers, sitting in the messy middle of how revenue teams really work, surfacing process pain points and turning them into a prescriptive deployment that actually sticks. You’ll be based on-site in San Francisco and travel to customers for onsite sprints. We care a lot about building a strong in-person culture, and we’re very much in build mode. We expect the team to be in our SF office five days a week — that’s important to how we operate and scale right now.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years in implementation, professional services, or customer onboarding within a B2B SaaS company—ideally in CRM, RevOps, or workflow automation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex software implementations end-to-end
  • Strong consultative skills—able to diagnose customer needs and translate them into product configurations
  • Proficiency with data management, integrations, and system configuration
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across technical and executive stakeholders
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Comfort with BI tools, analytics, and understanding customer data models
  • Startup DNA: resourceful, organized, and comfortable managing ambiguity while driving for results
  • High-slope. We hire for slope, not intercept — how fast you climb matters more than what you already know.
  • A customer-first implementer. You genuinely care whether the customer's business wins — not just whether the go-live checklist is done. You thrive where technology meets business process, mapping workflows and turning messy requirements into clean solutions.
  • A prescriptive advisor. You don't just take orders; you tell customers what good looks like and guide them to it.
  • Technically fearless. Comfortable in spreadsheets and light scripting today; you want to learn SQL, APIs, and integrations fast.
  • A curious builder. You're driven to improve systems, find efficiencies, and get more technical over time.

Responsibilities

  • Own the deployment end to end. Take a customer from "signed" to a revenue team running its daily motion on Reevo — you own the outcome, not a checklist.
  • Configure Reevo to how they actually sell. Reason from first principles about how each customer actually generates revenue — their business model, their motion, their constraints, because a logistics company and a SaaS company don't sell the same way. Then set up Reevo around that reality: pipelines, stages, fields, workflows, and reporting — prescriptively, not just to spec, so the team is productive from day one.
  • Handle the technical glue. Wire up the integrations — lead forms, webhooks, quick data syncs — with a bit of scripting. Partner with Forward Deployed Software Engineers on anything that needs production code. You'll scope it, they'll build it, and you'll learn the pattern.
  • Own the data migration. Map, import, and QA the customer's data so day-one trust is earned, not lost.
  • Drive adoption. Get users into the product, run the training, and kill the hundred small reasons a rep hasn't logged in yet.
  • Make the next one faster. Turn every deployment into a repeatable playbook — and every successful customer into a reference.
