About The Position

Willow Valley Communities is hiring a part-time Buffet Server for its Culinary Services team at the Lakes and Manor Campus. The role helps create a welcoming dining experience for Residents and guests through prompt, courteous service, teamwork, and maintaining dining areas. Training is provided, and no prior experience or training is required. The wage is $14.00 per hour. Multiple part-time schedule options are available at Spring Run and the North Building.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional appearance and manner in accordance with the Culinary Services dress code.
Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests according to Willow Valley standards.
Work with other Team Members to ensure efficient and timely service.
Complete assigned set-up side work.
Escort diners to tables, pour ice water, greet diners, and announce daily specials.
Take verbal beverage orders tableside, assemble orders on trays, and serve hot and cold beverages.
Observe diners and respond to requests while clearing used dishes during meal service.
Carry trays and bus tubs of dirty dishes to the dish room.
Clear and reset tables and prepare dining areas for the next group of diners and meal period.
Complete assigned clean-up side work.
Assemble and deliver sick box meals to Residents' apartments.
Set up, serve, and clean up banquets or special functions as needed.
Follow the HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
Follow safety guidelines when operating equipment; transporting food, supplies, and trash; and preparing and serving food.
Complete tasks required by the Daily Sanitation checklist.
Assist in other departments, including the kitchen and dish room, as needed.
Attend Team meetings, in-services, and training sessions regularly.
