About The Position

As a Utility Buffet Server, you’ll help create meaningful dining experiences for residents as part of a collaborative team. The role involves serving residents and guests, maintaining a welcoming and caring community environment, and supporting safe, clean, and seamless meal service. No previous work experience is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to use the pizza oven, meat slicer, or knives.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits, as required by local ordinances, within two weeks of hire.
• No previous work experience is required.
• If applicable based on age and state of residence, obtain and submit a required work permit at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, present menu options clearly, take accurate orders, and tailor portion sizes to individual preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and handle dishware carefully to prevent breakage.
• Keep the exhibition line attended and visually appealing during meal hours.
• Respond professionally to feedback, address concerns promptly, and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including pizza ovens and sharp tools, and follow safety standards.
• Complete support work and additional tasks assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards in food preparation and production areas.
