About The Position

As a Utility Buffet Server, you’ll create meaningful dining experiences for residents as part of a collaborative team. You’ll share ideas, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and contribute to a positive, caring community environment. The role involves welcoming residents and guests, taking and serving orders, maintaining the exhibition line, and supporting safe, sanitary food service operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old to use the pizza oven, meat slicer, or knives.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
Ability to secure required food handler permits, as required by local ordinances, within two weeks of hire.
No previous work experience is required.
If required by state regulations based on age and state of residence, submit a work permit to the Community at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests warmly, present menu options clearly, take accurate orders, and tailor portion sizes to individual preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and handle dishware carefully to prevent breakage.
Keep the exhibition line attended and visually appealing throughout meal hours.
Respond professionally to feedback, address concerns promptly, and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
Safely operate kitchen equipment, including pizza ovens and sharp tools, following all safety standards; use of this equipment requires being at least 18 years old.
Complete support work and additional tasks assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
Maintain strict sanitation standards in all food preparation and production areas.
