About The Position

As a Buffet Server, you will be an essential part of the dining team, providing guests with a pleasant and efficient experience in buffet venues. You will serve beverages, assist with guest needs, and maintain a clean and organized dining area. The role calls for a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position includes standing for extended periods, frequent bending and kneeling, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Work may involve varied shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
Ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
Able to stand for long periods, bend and kneel frequently, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in settings that may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.

Responsibilities

Serve guests’ beverage orders properly, efficiently, and in a friendly manner.
Provide exceptional customer service and promptly fulfill guest requests.
Maintain cleanliness at the assigned station and in shared areas of responsibility.
Perform pre-bussing during dining to ensure tables are cleared efficiently.
Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment (“The Big Six”).
