About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Tempe location. The role is suited to friendly, enthusiastic candidates with customer service experience, including experience in retail or food service. The company will provide on-the-job training about cannabis and an opportunity to grow in the industry. The schedule is five days per week, consisting of eight-hour shifts with two days off; applicants must have open availability for morning, mid, and closing shifts and holidays. A minimum of 30 hours per week is required. Pay is $15.50–$16 per hour plus a shared tip pool. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
Open availability for morning and evening shifts and holidays, without schedule restraints.
Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
Comfort using a computer throughout the shift.
Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
Personal smartphone required: iPhone with iOS 14 or later, or Android with OS 4.4 or later.
At least 21 years old.
Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly assistance and recommendations on cannabis products to patients and customers.
