About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its East Tucson team. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with customer service experience in retail, food service, or similar settings; cannabis training is provided. Budtenders help patients and customers choose cannabis products, create a welcoming dispensary experience, and maintain an organized and clean workspace. The schedule is five days per week, with eight-hour shifts and two days off. Open availability is required for morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays. Employees must be available to work at least 30 hours each week. Pay is $15.50–$16 per hour, plus a shared tip pool. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
Open availability for morning and evening shifts and holidays, without schedule restraints.
Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
Comfort using a computer throughout the shift.
Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
Team-player attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
Personal smartphone required; iPhone iOS 14 or later, or Android OS 4.4 or later.
Must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.
