North Tucson Budtender
About The Position
JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its North Tucson team. The role is a full-time opportunity for someone with a friendly, customer-focused attitude; the company provides on-the-job training about cannabis and opportunities to grow within the industry. The position pays $15.50–$16 per hour, plus a shared tip pool. The schedule is five days of eight-hour shifts with two days off, and candidates must have open availability to work morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays. Employees must work a minimum of 30 hours each week. Budtenders assist patients and customers with cannabis products, help create a welcoming dispensary experience, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Requirements
- Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
- Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restraints.
- Able to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for a minimum of eight hours daily.
- Comfortable using a computer throughout the shift.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
- Able to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Personal smartphone required: iPhone with iOS 14 or later, or Android with OS 4.4 or later.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass a standard background check and a fingerprint background check.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience in retail or food service, such as at Starbucks or Target.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly assistance and recommendations on cannabis products to patients and customers.
- Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for new and returning clientele.
- Develop sales and customer service skills through on-the-job training.
- Keep the dispensary clean and organized.
- Complete tasks assigned by management promptly and efficiently.
