North Tucson Budtender
About The Position
JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its North Tucson location. The role provides customer service to patients and customers, including assistance and recommendations on cannabis products. Candidates with customer service experience in retail or food service may be trained on cannabis. The position offers on-the-job training to develop sales and customer service skills, along with opportunities for career growth. The schedule is five days of eight-hour shifts with two days off. Open availability is required to work morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays. Employees must work at least 30 hours per week. Pay is $15.50–$16 per hour plus a shared tip pool. Requirements
- Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
- Open availability to work morning, mid, and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restraints.
- Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
- Comfort using a computer throughout the shift.
- Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
- Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Personal smartphone required; iPhone iOS 14 or later or Android OS 4.4 or later.
- At least 21 years old.
- Must pass a standard background check and a fingerprint background check.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience in retail or food service, such as at Starbucks or Target.
Responsibilities
