Budtender - Nature's of Garden City
About The Position
Come work in the fast paced cannabis industry! We are hiring a Budtender for our Garden City (Greeley) location! The ideal candidate for this role will have open availability for the hours this store is open - Sunday - Saturday 8 am to 12 am. This person will have a positive friendly attitude and a passion for and knowledge of cannabis, and love interacting with our customers! This is a full time position, and you will generally be scheduled 30-32 hours per week, 4-5 shifts per week. Our culture is all about having fun and building strong connections—after all, we’re in the cannabis industry! We aim to make each workday enjoyable while balancing the needs of the business and following state regulations. Customer service is our top priority, so we’re looking for candidates with experience in customer service who genuinely enjoy helping others. While knowledge of cannabis products is a plus, it’s not required. We have a team full of expertise and are eager to help you learn everything you need to know about the wide range of cannabis products we offer.
Requirements
- To begin working in any dispensary in Colorado, you must have a valid badge from the State of Colorado to work in the cannabis industry.
- Reliability is super important!
- Customer Service experience, ideally in a retail environment or as a server/bartender/host.
- Friendly, positive attitude and AMAZING communication skills.
- Passion for the cannabis industry/product - even if you do not partake, you should be excited about what it can do for folks!
- Willingness to learn the rules of this industry and uphold them every single day.
Nice To Haves
- Heavy preference will be given to candidates who already have their badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado.
- General knowledge about cannabis products is a big plus!
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, answering questions and making suggestions on different products to purchase.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all our customers.
- Stock products on the sales floor.
- Handle cash with accuracy and integrity.
- Follow all the rules and regulations set up by the organization and the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED).
