Safford Budtender
About The Position
JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Safford location. The role is suited to candidates with customer service experience, including experience in retail or food service; the company will provide training on cannabis. Budtenders help patients and customers choose cannabis products, foster a welcoming dispensary experience, maintain an orderly workspace, and complete management-assigned tasks. The position pays $15.50–$16 per hour plus a shared tip pool. The schedule is five days of eight-hour shifts with two days off, and applicants must have open availability for morning, mid, and closing shifts, including holidays. At least 30 hours of work per week is required. Applicants must be at least 21 and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.
Requirements
- Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
- Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restraints.
- Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
- Comfort using a computer for the duration of the shift.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
- Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Personal smartphone required; iPhone must have iOS 14 or later, or Android must have OS 4.4 or later.
- At least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and a fingerprint background check.
