About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its New River location. The role is suited to candidates with customer-service experience, including experience in retail or food service; the company will provide training on cannabis. Budtenders assist patients and customers with cannabis products and recommendations, help create a welcoming dispensary environment, and maintain cleanliness and organization. The position requires open availability for morning, mid, closing, and holiday shifts. The schedule is five 8-hour shifts per week with two days off, and employees must be able to work at least 30 hours per week. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restrictions.
Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least 8 hours daily.
Comfortable using a computer for the duration of the shift.
Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
Ability to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
Personal smartphone required: iPhone iOS 14 or later, or Android OS 4.4 or later.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must pass a standard background check and a fingerprint background check.
