About The Position

As a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking, you are the main point of contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients as well as other customers in the branch. You manage their complete banking relationship across the company, using a proactive and disciplined approach to generate growth in their balances. You help acquire new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources. The role focuses on helping customers make the most of their money through education and advice tailored to their financial needs, while building lasting relationships and providing welcoming, valued service.

This position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Employment and continued employment are contingent on satisfying applicable financial responsibility, character, fitness, registration, renewal, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
• At least 1 year of Branch Banking Banker or equivalent financial services experience, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation.
• If not currently registered, complete the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, applicable state registration (including Series 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses within 180 days of starting the role.
• Comply with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Meet the position's NMLS registration requirements under the SAFE Act, including registration or updating an existing registration after starting, and timely annual renewal and required updates.

Responsibilities

• Share the value of Chase Private Client with clients who may be eligible.
• Actively manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring each client receives products and services suited to their needs.
• Partner with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect customers with specialists for financial needs.
• Help clients access accounts conveniently by sharing and setting up self-service options available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Actively solicit referrals and develop internal and external sources to acquire new clients.
