A leading broadband organization is seeking a Broadband Network Strategy & GIS Analyst to identify and prioritize where the company should expand its network. The role combines broadband network strategy, GIS and geospatial analysis, market expansion, competitive intelligence, and data analytics. The analyst will evaluate existing network footprints, potential serviceable locations, competitive providers, demographics, broadband availability, market density, geospatial data, and financial considerations to recommend expansion opportunities and explain their strategic and business rationale. This is not a traditional GIS analyst or network engineering position. GIS is an important component, but the role uses geospatial information as part of a broader broadband expansion and investment strategy. The analyst will support market planning, network investment decisions, business cases, market feasibility assessments, and recommendations about which opportunities should advance to deeper engineering and financial evaluation. The position is permanent, fully remote, and based out of New York, NY. The posted pay range is $60.00–$70.00 per hour. Individual compensation depends on factors including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity. If eligible, benefits for this temporary role may include medical, dental, and vision coverage; critical illness, accident, and hospital coverage; a 401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions; life insurance; short- and long-term disability; a Health Spending Account; transportation benefits; an Employee Assistance Program; and time off or leave such as PTO, vacation, or sick leave. Eligibility and benefits may depend on job classification, length of employment, elections, and plan terms.
